The first M doll soundtrack is almost done- so release soon

So we hired four different musicians to create four different soundtracks for M doll back around January 2021. The four styles are pretty different.

The soundtrack being made by Yeltsin Is Illuminati is the furthest along. He assured me he would be finished by the end of this month(September 2021).

It’s a REALLY interesting soundtrack.

So since we’re so close to having a version of M doll we can show people I’ve been thinking about how/why/where we’re going to release it.

If the film and animation scene wasn’t run by lazy pretentious gatekeepers you’d think some film festival would be begging us to screen M doll. Say what you want about me or my work, its cutting edge cinema.

It’s the first animated feature film made entirely in a game engine, by own person no less, and it looks and sounds great. That one person is also a game developer and programmer who used his programming skills to code his own crowd sims and effects for the film among other things and it was rendered in real-time at 4k on a single PC.

Not ONE film or animation online magazine, blog, film festival etc has said one thing about “M doll” let alone contact us about M doll. It’s not like I’m new to the scene. I’ve been doing this for years.

I probably rub the gatekeepers the wrong way because I’m very confident and I don’t beg. I know that without creators like me those gatekeepers are NOTHING, they bring NOTHING to the table but their connections to their cronies. I’ll let them run their mediocre circles into the ground.

Who cares what is playing at Sundance anymore? No one. Film festivals are corpses, they let politics turn a once exciting thing into a contest of who can patronize viewers the most. They have always been publicity op’s for the next big “indie success” that was already signed to William Morris and just used their connects to get the film in blah blah

Who reads online animation sites/blogs? The “independent” film and animation scenes are so stale no one cares about them anymore. They shot themselves in the foot by ignoring/locking out the real exciting work.

But anyhow- the world is full of lazy gatekeepers trying to keep their cushy jobs- that’s just how it is haha

Luckily we don’t have to make a single $ with M doll as it was so cheap to produce and Imagination Rabbit as a company is good to go to produce these films for years.

So we’ll just keep doing our thing but back to the point…. where/how/when to play M doll?

I don’t want to just throw it up on Youtube first now that Youtube puts ad’s on everything even if you don’t want them. It’ll eventually make its way there but not soon.

Since we are active in the crypto space we were planning on doing something special in regard to M doll and NFT’s. After doing some research I’ve decided to not go the NFT route as the only ideas I came up with and all the stuff I’ve seen people doing with films is just not that interesting.

So no Youtube release….So no NFT’s.

We really want to do physical screenings by four walling theaters and travelling around showing it BUT since the world still sucks from all this recent great reset nonsense there are the following concerns.

• Can we even show a film in a theater anywhere?

• Will anyone even show up since so many people are still shittin themselves over what the people on the screens say?

I originally wanted to rent a theater and play it in Iceland because of my wife’s family there and Icelanders are pretty big supporters of the arts. They are brain swabbin and quarantining people coming in there so fuck that.

Another place I want to play it in is Moscow- the composer is in Moscow- it would be fun to rent a place and cater it and make it free so the composer can invite his people to hear his work. My wife and I want to visit Russia so it would be an op to do that as well….

But yeh….

What are people still doing? Playing games? Yes. Staying home and buying/playing stuff on Steam? Yes.

I’m going to do something with that space for sure. I’m not going to say what it is until its done.

I’m so busy with projects like the new film “Do you know the way to nowhere?” I don’t have time for much other stuff besides creating new works.
