Miura Kentaro- EPIC mangaka- my biggest artistic/storytelling hero has left this place
I was saddened to hear that Miura Kentaro the creator of the manga Berserk died recently 0_0
He was a GIANT. His imagination IMMENSE. His work ethic UNRIVALED by perhaps anyone I’m aware of except maybe Tezuka who also died at a rather young age.
He is my artistic and storytelling hero. I own and have read all of the Berserk books several times. Whenever I feel bad I lay on the couch and read through 5-10 Berserk books- the imagination and drama inside them always cheers me up and stimulates my imagination.
There are things I have gotten from Berserk that I live my life by.
I will be dedicating my new animated feature film “M doll” to Miura.
It will be the only text credit in the film.
