I just finished the storyboards for our next film “Do you know the way to nowhere?” As noted above I didn’t storyboard action sequences or fight scenes- why?
Those depend a lot of the animations used and the layout of the set and through experience on M doll I learned its better to improvise the fight/action scenes.
So what is next?
Now that I have a rough idea of what is included in the film in its entirety- sets/props/fx/characters- I will create my construction lists with the missing items and buy or model them.
Things change during the storyboarding process so I might add or remove things that were in the outline-
So yeah- I’ll get that done then its on to building + lighting the sets-
I have always admired your story-boarding consistency with all your projects. I seem to work (or used to work) non-linearly from my mind's eye with absolutely no groundwork or guardrails. Now that Google has effectively put me out of business by locking me out of all my accounts (my fault for not making hard copies of all my YouTube subscriber info and client's email addresses) I don't know what I'm going to do. I trusted them too much with my info and got lazy.
