My favorite event that happens in San Jose California → the town I live in most of the year is an event called SubZero- its a street art/music/crafts festival put on by the HEART and SOUL of art and culture in San Jose → Brian and Cherri from Anno Domini.
I made a little game called Smashy Town for the festival last year which you can get here
I had a table, a projector, 4 joysticks and a small screen to project the game on in the street- IF anyone in the area can let me borrow a big sturdy standing projection screen pls let me know thx— ->mdotstrange@gmail.com
People that played it had a lot of fun with it, and its good for me to kick out a small game every year as I’m working on some big long term projects-
With Smashy Town I provided 4 generic Xbox 360 controllers with the 3 directional controllers and a million buttons even though the game only used one control stick and three buttons 0_0 It confused people and that takes away from the fun soooooooo-
So this years game is keeping it simple and designed for these old thangs
This years game is called “GIT-FLIP-CHOP” right now but that could change- I’m still working on it now-
Its a local 4 player game- I’m locking up the one player gameplay now then I’ll get it all setup for all 4- here’s some animated action from the current one player prototype

In the game you are a chef that has to prepare meals for your patron to make them explode via mint a la Monty Python to make them explode- all the food comes from vending machines and killing zombies gives you the bitcoin you need to GIT food so you can FLIP it and CHOP it-
The first player to explode their patron wins-
The whole game will take about 2 weeks to make- I’m using Unity, Playmaker and Behavior Designer-
The game gave me an excuse to create a dismemberment system I was supposed to make for my pal Jimmy ScreamerClauz-

I disabled the leg chops for this game BUT I’m probably going to turn this into a Unity asset to do quick and easy dismemberment because there isn’t an easy way to do it code free out there-
Here’s a screencap of the Behavior Tree for the zombies-
The zombies wander until they spot an item- then they seek it and try to eat it- then they go back to wandering- they can also damage the patron’s by touching making them vomit to lose some of their fullness meter-
BUT its not done yet so back to WORK!!!
