Just bought two Logitech Mx310 on Ebay this week-
I’ve been using the same model of mouse since 2003 😃
Why? Because they work well for me. Why change if the current thing works perfectly for you?
I don’t allow myself to be swayed by marketing for BIGGER, BETTER, FASTER, SHINIER things. Sure I’ll try new things, but if they are not better than my old thing I’ll stay with the old thing as long as I can.
Before I upgraded my work PC in 2021- I was using a PC built in 2013, complete with Windows 7. I would have stayed with Windows 7 with my new PC but the new hardware wouldn’t work with it.
I’ll probably end up staying with Unity’s built in render pipeline for my next film as all the tests I’ve done with HDRP points to it being a toy for my kind of intense film production.
Anyhow- back to work with my MX310 #7 or so now.
I believe you I keep putting off upgrades until eventually I get a few things replaced on my build from 2005. Mdot have u considered URP before you upgraded your pc? I'm looking at yer IDGAF asset list and getting excited of all the cool toyz/plugins. But my latest GPU 1024 VRAM failed on some basic HDRP setup! I wonder if a unity project workflow is worthwhile with what I have.
I like Logitech MX510 because of the side buttons. Use a nice free program called x mouse button control to make them the middle mouse button.
The other day I was going through some older meece I'm hoarding and notice the older Logitech seem more solid than newer ones.
