A stack of cards to be mailed from Reykjavik

I did my hand drawn postcard thing for the third year now or is it four? I can’t remember… but if you asked for one and don’t get it by February 2023 let me know and I’ll make/send you another one.

I saw some familiar names in the people who requested which was nice-

SHOCKING NOTE: I don’t have that many fans so I pretty much remember everyones name haha- also I don’t have a phone so yeah I tend to remember details and things many people do not.

I let people leave notes when they gave me their addresses to send postcards to- I thought this one was really funny- I guess they received a hand drawn card from me in years past-

I'll put it right next to my other one. I always love when people come over and ask what in the world is that weird picture of a girl? Did a five-year-old draw that and im like naw man. That's the coolest artist you got to look them up.

So 2022 is over- what did Imagination Rabbit do this year? What didn’t we do?

The biggest what DIDN’T we do- I had planned to make the second feature film in the M doll trilogy after M doll (2021) but it didn’t get made this year- I created all the actor models, collected all the models, outlined and storyboarded the whole film but never pulled the trigger as it wasn’t screaming to me to get made so I didn’t make it-

I’m glad I didn’t make it this year though as now I’m re-imagining it as a game instead of a film- its always exciting to try new things so new things I will try with the next big “film”

I updated our game that makes animations (Nightmare Puppeteer) a ton this year- added new features + new heads and the like- lagging on adding new scenes so will do that next year-

I released two musical albums B WORDS + MISANTHROPIC and animated music videos made for each song with Nightmare Puppeteer-

I released a really stupid joke game I made in a month called Derp Souls which I will continue to update when I get new dumb ideas for it.

Compared to most years I didn’t get that much work done this year as I was traveling with my wife + family + friends a lot.

Now I’m no travel blogger or anything- we just had the ability to travel and I wasn’t bogged down by some giant project so why not?

I got my first “hate speech” violation on youtube this year haha

Was in some fancy restaurant in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and they had crayons at the table- IDGAF so I drew like a 5 year old like I always do

This + swimming is a good time in Maui for me

The last thing work-ish thing I do before the end of 2022 is get the M doll interactive on Steam- if you’ve been following my work this year you’ll know that I did submit it to steam in 2021 after the films release BUT it was removed because of the inclusion of QR codes that linked to the single M doll NFT

So I re-submitted without the NFT stuff and it looks like it will available the first week of January- I thought it was a pretty innovative thing and very few people have experienced it-

But anyway- I’m off to Iceland tomorrow for the holidays- be back next year-
