Bravery and Originality
The first guy out the door is with the arrows in his back on the floor...
I read something like that somewhere sometime before...
"Good artists borrow...great artists steal".... yeh we all know that famous quote...
It's kinda dangerous when people do steal and are acknowledged for the work they created with the stolen thangs in it... then they forget that they stole it and start to believe that they themselves were the creator...the originator... the innovator...
They can lie to themselves and to others but time will tell the truth.... whether those people are revealed to be a sham now or in 100 years it doesn't matter...
They know in they're hearts that they're a sham and when that heart stops beating that's when the memories all rush back and your living in a hell you can never escape...
Since we don't want to live in hell unless we're really into death metal and think its the coolest thing ever...
We shouldn't deny our influences... Borrow don't steal... borrow means you give it back(give the originator credit).... steal means you keep it and pretend it to be your own...
That's one of the big reasons for never sitting still...
Keep evolving, changing, innovating....
My next film will be in a completely different style than the last... different colors...different speeds... different moods...
You have to be brave to go out on your own and create something new...
The first person out the door is like the "point man"
He makes it easier for everyone else to follow...
Just because its easier to follow it doesn't mean you should...
Pride and shame are good things to have...
Be proud of your originality and feel ashamed for even thinking of ripping off someone else's style...
A person's style usually comes about through they're various life experiences and influences...
It usually mean's something to them and reflects upon they're true self...
They're skin they had to develop the skill to create and muster up the courage to wear it out in public...
Walk out in the world with your own skin... you'll be happier in the end.Brought to you by professional weirdo M dot Strange.
