Another film finished

Just finished the sound fx for the film so the "No music" version is done

We shootin strange things in here

Currently exporting the “No music” version of M doll as a 4096 x 1716 ProRes 444 video at 24fps.

There will be several versions of M doll with different soundtracks. Here is a list of the versions that will eventually be released.

• No music soundtrack - %100 complete

• Yeltsin is Illuminati soundtrack

• Endika soundtrack

• Chiptune classical soundtrack

• Cementimental Noise soundtrack

• Imagination rabbit soundtrack - %100 complete

I did the sound fx using Nuendo 11 and a bunch of sound libraries from ASoundEffect.com and ProSoundEffects.com

Ended up going old school 80’s anime sound fx style for most all the sounds. Abstract sound fx/design is more fun as you can use any sound as long as it feels/sounds right to the designer etc. So its not a realistic sound fx treatment at all.

The world of M doll is not a “photo realistic” world but its not an entirely “cartoony” world either, its a bunch of styles mixed together and the abstract mix and match sound fx treatment works will with it.

I’m going back and forth on whether I will end up making NFT’s from the film etc. I think NFT’s are cool and exciting but I really feel like starting the next movie instead of tweaking NFT art etc for weeks. The NFT stuff would only be done to make money and/or posture and I don’t feel motivated by either of those things when it comes to my creations.

I’m NOT going to put the time into promoting them and I don’t have the means to anyway with my lack of social media presence etc. I also don’t have the will/energy to try and partner with an NFT site to promote them so I don’t think I’ll end up doing it.

I’m pretty excited about the next film so I’m going to keep moving forward on that- I also need to polish the features in Nightmare Puppeteers test branch up/fix bugs and get that into the release branch.

As far as releasing M doll goes- I haven’t decided on exactly how I’m going to do that. I just know its going to be free. We’re going to do some physical screenings for sure if the new dead world allows film screenings 😔

Anyhow- there is no hype-man for M doll- there is no publicist to drum up press to get people to tell you how great it is- there will be no articles about it convincing you to watch it- there won’t be any “influencers” reviewing it or telling you to watch it-

Why? We make things for ourselves and for the people that are looking for the kind of things we make. If you are looking for strange unique animated things you will find our work. We are not going to chase anyone down and beg them to pay attention as we have our dignity and know the true value of our work.

No one may find our work for 20, or maybe 200 years? That is none of our business, its just our business to create things and release them in a way so that they can be found in the future.

The people that need to be chased and hounded to pay attention today are not our target audience as we don’t care to waste our time trying to convince them its worth their time that they continue to throw away on an endless array of addictive meaningless things.

Our work is for humans/aliens that value their time and their life and don’t want to waste it sitting in front of a screen watching junk food for the mind.

I now know that imagination is my purpose- imagination inspires and cultivates imagination.
