%55 done with musical now

Short post today as I’m heading to the gym/spa in a minute-That’s the spreadsheet I use to track progress on the project 👆

The rough cut of the film is 54 minutes so far- final cut will be around 100 minutes I reckon-

I decided I’m going to do a release party in Lisboa

I’m still unsure of what to do with this musical/film- its coming out so good I feel like I should try to do something with it BUT doing something “with it” all involves selling it as if other people aren’t making money from your work it goes nowhere in the western world.

I don’t want to sell it- “monetizing” and selling my art these days just feels dirty to me. It cheapens it. Thankfully I don’t have to do that. I would rather release it for free like I have done with all my works for many years now.

I’ve come along this far on my current path and I’m not turning back.

So as of right now the only thing I know for sure I want to do with it is do at least one screening party- it won’t be in a cinema/film screening setting as its a musical so a music venue/bar is more fitting so people can talk/watch/not watch whatever.

Anyhow- going to the gym/spa now.

ALSO- so I finished the “Nightmare Puppeteer” segment in the musical- its very spooky and would fit in as a Halloween thing- was thinking of posting it soon for Halloween- when would be a good date to do that?
